At the Museum of Northern Arizona, a tapestry of exhibitions unfurls each year, each accompanied by its own publication adorned with intricate details and the captivating narratives behind the featured displays. Amidst this vibrant lineup, 2022 saw a spotlight on the illustrious history of Glen Canyon. This very land, now cradling the monumental Glen Canyon Dam, witnessed its inception from 1956 to 1966. However, well before the dam's rise, this terrain bore witness to the tapestry of Native American culture, adorned with a myriad of ancient ruins, cultural treasures, and petroglyphs, narrating a mesmerizing tale to every visitor. In a symbiotic dance with the museum, I had the privilege of weaving my threads into this rich historical fabric.
